[ Oop. The grip on his robes makes his expression soft and he raises his hands to cup Shadow Milks face, squish gently. ]

Ah, we ran into Hoku, unfortunately. That is the reason I called upon you to get us out of there as quickly as possible. There was no dealing with him. He's powerful enough to yet be coherent, even Corrupted, and we were quickly losing cohesion as a unit.

[ He's also missing his staff but don't worry about that. ]

[He's goNNA WORRY ABOUT IT. HE NOTICES. Because Vanilla is never without the damn thing even when he didn't need it to see out of. He knows, because he used to watch him through it-]

[Oh, right, there it goes. His price for holding open the Other-Realm for as long as he did. His knees suddenly wobble and if Vanilla doesn't catch him, he will hit the ground.]

[ Ah, he will be quick to catch Shadow Milk before he collapses, his arms going around him to support him as he moves him over to a chair to sit him down in it, fussing gently over him. ]

Will took off running as he was told to do so, before Hoku showed up. Timekeeper went after him to make sure he got away.

[ Mm, the portal really took it out of him. The distance, and in the forest at that... ]

[Not only that, but it was a little too far for him to try and channel through Vanilla at the same time. If they had been closer, maybe they could have created a circuit of sorts, and cycle the energy between them, but time was of the essence, so Shadow Milk simply brute forced his limits.]

I'm fine. I just exhausted what I had from when I borrowed from you before. You're lucky we did that little experiment, you might have been out of luck, Vanilla Bean.

Hm, she'll be all right. I doubt even the forest itself would be able to stop her once she's set her mind on something.

[ Stubborn man. Vanilla huffs and pushes Shadow Milk aside in the chair to wedge himself in against him, putting his legs over his lap as he smashes himself in. He has to go check on the others quickly, and get the corrupted star into containment, but for right now he can take a moment for Shadow Milk.

Take his hands in his and gently light his runes up, slowly trickling magic back into him. Energy. ]

Oh, I'm sure you would have found a way somehow. I had faith in you.

She's about as unkillable as I am, and that's saying quiiiite a lot, don't you think? Pesky time mage, that she is.

[He simmers down a little with that knowledge. And at the attention. He's about to get grabby when Vanilla takes is hands and he feels that rush of magic run through him. He sighs a pleased little sound through his nose.]

You're incorrigible. You'd better not overdo it, love. I'll kill you myself. Anyway, I think I deserve a reward.

[ He smiles to the pleased noise, he thought so, and utters a little laugh to killing him himself. ]

Ah, such sweet nothings, my Bluebird.

[ Reward makes him snort, and he lets go of his hands to take his face instead, squishing and rubbing his palms gently over his cheeks, stroking along his jaw, his voice soft. ]

Now whose incorrigible? Whatever reward shall my sweet Other-Half demand?

[Oh, look how pleased he is to have his face squished. Like a cat, he looks so very content. Purring.]

Oh, I think you know~ but I am a patient and benevolent beast. I'll take half now, and then the oooother half later.

[ Does he now how to make his Bluebird happy or what? The purring makes him so pleased to hear.

Of course, however, he's going to be a little shit. ]

[He will reach up to take Vanilla's hands and pull him forward, grabbing him in a kiss.]

[ He laughs briefly before their mouths collide and he sinks into it, teeth scrapping against lips before he parts his mouth to coax Shadow Milk in. ]

[Look at how much better at this he's getting. He doesn't immediately go for tearing open Vanilla's lips, and lets him be coaxed in, so he can curiously seek out his tongue.]

[And then he slides his hands into his robes to find the base of his tail, pressing his fingertips in with a little hum.]

[ Look at his Bluebird being so good! What a good boy! He will tease their tongues together as Shadow Milk dips in, letting him explore as he wishes.

Until those fingertips go to his tail and he squirms, a soft startled 'baa' noise being exhaled into Shadow Milks mouth and he pulls back, cheeks flushed, even as his tail arches into the touch and wiggles. ]

Bluebird! Naughty!

[It's hard for him not to laugh into the kiss at that. He is so delighted.]

Oh? I learned it from you.

[He removes his hands and sticks out his tongue, which is now suddenly very snake like. Hssthp]

Don't you have something to go finish? You shouldn't keep them waiting long, hehe.

[ WELL!! He huffs hard to the tease and then the shooing. How RUDE.

In punishment he reaches out to snag Shadow Milks head and pull him in to bite his bottom lip hard enough to break it open. Just like he knows his Bluebird likes. ]

I'll be back, my naughty Bluebird.

[ You're going to regret that, his tone says, as he stands to head out. ]

[He hitches, making a noise as he splits his lip, and then licks it as Vanilla starts to get up.]

I'll be waiting.

[He hopes so, his tone says back. He hopes Vanilla tears him open.]
